Description
With hemmed edges, Zombie Painting a Portrait is printed as a wall tapestry.
The figure sits left of center, holding a brush to a canvas on the right. Its tattered cap and rotting features are echoed in the painted face on the canvas. Dark green and muted teal fill the murky background, while pale sage, rust red and ochre yellow pick out the tones of the wooden easel. The overall feel is eerie and macabre.
A living room suits this macabre scene, since the painted face mirroring the figure’s decay gives guests something to study. Hang it above a sofa, centered so the easel sits at seated eye level.
