Description
Woman with Birds is made to order as a framed poster.
A pale blonde woman with closed eyes is the center of the scene, wearing an ornate gold headdress and a metallic bodice. Steel blue birds with burnt orange plumage perch around her shoulders and head. Behind them, a dark gothic arch with fine tracery frames a dusky sky in deep navy. The palette is restrained, and the mood is mysterious and serene.
A hallway fits this piece, since the tall gothic arch matches the length of a passage. Hang it on a wall with open space on both sides so the birds around her head and shoulders are not crowded by other frames or furniture.
