Description
With a pine frame, Woman Standing Among Red Balloons is printed as a framed poster.
Long hair and bare feet mark the figure, who stands on slick stones. Above, red and pale balloons hang on thin strings beneath a sky of charcoal and gray. Brown rocks frame the lower half, and the whole scene feels heavy and strange. The palette stays muted, and gray light spreads across the top of the frame.
A hallway works well for this picture, since people walking past see the lone figure and the drifting balloons up close. Hang it on a hallway wall with clear space on both sides so the woman and the balloons above her are not crowded by furniture or other frames.
