Description
The framed poster edition of Woman Overlooking a Meadow Lake has a pine frame.
The scene shows a figure in a white top and long black skirt, set among wildflowers. Past her, rolling hills climb toward a sky with pink-tinged clouds. Dusty pink, cream white, sage green and muted gold run through the whole picture, and its oil-painting look gives the colors a soft finish. The mood stays calm and contemplative from edge to edge.
Hang it as one of a pair with a similar meadow or lake print, spaced evenly so the two open landscapes read as one view. Position the pair at eye level above a sofa or sideboard, where the quiet figure in the meadow can be seen from across the room.
