Description
Waterfall in Misty Mountain Valley is made to order as a framed poster.
The scene shows a broad waterfall pouring down a rocky cliff face in a deep valley. A rapid stream tumbles over dark boulders in the foreground. Warm sunlight breaks through clouds near the horizon, lighting the mist, the mountain ridges and autumn-toned trees on the banks. The oil-painting look uses golden amber, deep charcoal, misty grey, burnt orange and forest green.
An entryway works well for this landscape, because guests see it as they come in. Hang it at eye level so the falling water and the rocks in the stream can be seen up close.
