Description
You can order Vintage Mushroom Field Guide on a desk mat, with a rubber base.
Red-capped fungi, a honey-colored chanterelle-like species and a large brown-capped one stand on the top tier. Orange, tan and cream caps fill the lower row among ferns, moss and purple flowers. The pale, aged background sits behind the stone ledge. Its watercolor look gives the scene a loose, hand-drawn feel.
A study suits this piece best. Set it where you sit for daily work, and the ferns and purple flowers stay in view. A reading nook gets the same view from a chair, which suits slow reading. A kitchen wall can carry its earthy tones, since the moss and ochre match wood and herbs.
