Description
Tall Ship on Rough Sea is made to order as a framed poster.
Rough navy water fills the lower part of the picture, and the cream sails catch the last light. Distant mountains rise at both edges beneath swirling skies lit in burnt orange and gold. Slate grey shadows and visible strokes give the oil-painting look its weight. The mood feels dramatic, with one vessel alone at sea.
A dining room works well with a stormy seascape like this one. Hang it above a shelf so the lone ship near the center of the picture sits at eye level.
