Description

Surreal Face with Red Eye is made to order on a desk mat.

The face sits in the upper center, with a glowing red eye and soft lavender gray around it. Dripping fluid falls from the bubble web, and below it warm ochre brown towers rise above rippling water. The reflective surface in the lower part repeats the pink and rose red shapes.

A studio desk suits this piece well. Designers and illustrators who work near it can study the layered forms and reflected light, which reward a close look. The stacks and water offer many separate parts to trace with a pen. It stays interesting to glance at during a long workday.
