Description

The desk mat edition of Silhouetted Figure with Red Splatter has a rubber base.

The scene shows a figure in black, its head lowered, set against a faint white background. Bare tree limbs cross the upper left, and red and black ink-like splatters run across the torso and arms. Grey tones in the haze keep the crimson in check. The overall mood is quiet and heavy.

A studio table is a practical place for this piece, since it stays in view through every working day. In a game room, the dark shape against white haze gives a busy setup a quieter centre. It suits anyone who works long hours with the same image in view.
