Description
With a pine frame, Ship in Stormy Sunset is printed as a framed poster.
The scene shows a large wooden ship moving through churning waves, with rocky cliffs on the left. A fiery sun glows through clouds in the upper left, lighting the water and the billowing cream sails. The style has an oil-painting look, with burnt orange, amber gold, deep teal and dark brown across sky and sea. The mood feels dramatic and stormy.
A bedroom works well for a seascape like this, with the open water and distant sunset giving the room a far-off feel. Hang it on a wall with clear space around it, so the wide sky and the ship have room to stand out.
