Description
With a pine frame, Scissors and Thread Spool is printed as a framed poster.
The scene shows the scissors open in the upper left, with the spool and thimble lower right and thread trailing across the foreground. Cobalt and steel blue-gray sit against cream beige, with coral orange and brass gold picking out the yarn and metal. The oil-painting look keeps every edge gentle and warm.
Hang it at eye level so the small details of the scissors, spool and thimble can be read up close. Keep the space around it fairly open so the trailing thread in the foreground is not crowded by other objects.
