Description
With a pine frame, Roasting Chestnuts by Fireplace is printed as a framed poster.
The scene shows a perforated-lid pan of chestnuts with the fireplace lit at upper right. A wicker basket of firewood, a knitted plaid and scattered shells surround it. The photoreal render leans on deep amber, burnt orange, charcoal black and warm brown, with weathered grey tones. The mood is cozy, warm and rustic.
Hang it at eye level so the chestnuts and scattered shells can be seen up close. A spot where people sit or pass by often lets them take in these small details.
