Description
Red Cloak in Forest is made to order as a framed poster.
Gnarled roots and tall trees frame the figure, which stands near the middle of the picture above a shallow pond. Scattered red leaves rest on the moss, and the water doubles the dark trunks. Soft light moves through the fog over deep forest green, misty grey, and charcoal black. The overall tone is quiet and mysterious.
A dining room fits this quiet forest scene, since its calm, still mood suits a space for slow evening meals. Hang it on a narrow wall where the tall shape fits, because the upright figure and tall trees run vertically through the picture.
