Description
The metal poster edition of House on Floating Island has a 3 mm panel.
The scene is a small house with a red roof, set on a grassy island above a river that swirls in green and gray. Golden cliffs frame the water. A large cloud, tinged with pink, hangs in the sky above the house. A few orbs drift nearby, and pale mountains sit at the edges. Soft oil-painting brushwork gives the whole picture a muted, old-fashioned finish.
Hang this in the living room at eye level so the small house and island detail can be read up close. A spot above a sofa or sideboard works well, since the cloud and house sit near the center of the portrait-oriented piece.
