Description
The framed poster edition of Coral Reef and Tropical Fish has a pine frame.
The scene shows a reef seen from below the surface, with branching and cup-shaped corals in magenta, orange and purple. A central channel of deep water holds the fish, which are yellow, striped and blue. Light falls from above, and the oil-painting look gives the colors a layered feel.
A living room fits this scene, where the central blue channel and the fish gathering in it can draw the eye across the seating area. Hang it above a shelf, centered, so the coral clusters on both sides frame the space below.
