Description
You can order Boy Standing by Water as a framed poster, with a pine frame.
A small figure in a hooded jacket and shorts stands alone on shallow water scattered with stones and lily pads. Bare, twisted trees frame both sides, and a dark wooden rowboat sits in the lower right. Burnt orange and deep red fill the sunset sky, cooled by slate blue and charcoal. The style is digital illustration, and the mood is lonely, quiet and eerie.
An entryway works well for this tall, lonely scene. Hang it on a narrow wall where the tall portrait shape fits, with the boy near eye level so the reflected path leads guests toward him.
