Description
The framed poster edition of Bare Tree at Sunset has a pine frame.
The scene is set on a flat, cracked wasteland where the tree’s roots spread across the dirt. Burnt orange and dusky red-brown dominate, with charcoal brown shadows and a pale amber glow along the horizon. Puddles and crumbled walls fill the foreground, giving the picture a bare, empty look. Nothing moves in the frame, and the scene feels still and sad.
An entryway works well, since guests pass it on arrival and can take in the lone figure facing the bare tree. Hang it at eye level so the small figure on the rooftop and the roots spreading across the ground can be seen clearly.
