Description
The framed poster edition of Abstract Watercolor Washes has a pine frame.
Pale blue shapes sweep diagonally from the left, while peach-orange strokes gather on the right and dusty mauve anchors the lower corner. Overlapping edges bleed into one another, with dry-brush texture and grainy patches that give a watercolor look on paper. No objects appear, only color and open cream space.
A hallway works well for this abstract piece, since the diagonal sweeps of color carry the eye along the length of the space. Hang it at eye level so the soft, layered edges can be seen clearly as you pass.
